Spatial Informatics Journal (SIJ), is an international, multidiscipline, open access, peer-reviewed scholarly journal, published quarterly for researchers, developers, technical managers, and educators in the field of geospatial engineering and technology innovation. The officially abbreviated title is Spatial Inf. J. It is published by Institut Teknologi Nasional Malang.
Throughout my academic journey, my passion for research in cultural heritage and large-scale mapping has remained a constant source of inspiration and fascination. Exploring the intricate connections between history, technology, and society, I have developed a deep appreciation for the invaluable role that cultural heritage plays in shaping our identities and understanding our collective past. It is this profound sense of appreciation that propels me to contribute to the preservation and documentation of our diverse cultural legacies. These experiences further solidified my commitment to bridging the gap between heritage preservation and modern technology. I realized that by leveraging cutting-edge tools and methodologies, such as 3D scanning, BIM, photogrammetry, and GIS, we can create accurate and immersive representations of cultural heritage, ensuring its accessibility and fostering a deeper understanding of our shared heritage.
